My name is Stan Verwaaij. I’m 28 growing seasons young and earned my degree in Business Administration and Agrifood Business at HAS University of Applied Sciences in Venlo. Having grown up on my parents’ tree nursery in Ottersum, I was raised on a green lifestyle from the very start. In 2020, I launched my own green entrepreneurial dream: Stan Verwaaij Hedge Plants! Through this venture, I enable consumers to purchase hedge plants directly from a professional nursery via the much-discussed short supply chain. There’s no shorter or fresher route between producer and consumer!
