We’re very pleased with this nursery! We received a beautiful proprietary variety: the Laurier ‘Elly’. The plants were of good quality, nice and full, and healthy. You can tell right away that they’re grown with a great deal of expertise and care.

During a visit to the beautiful nursery in Ottersum, Stan gave us excellent and enthusiastic advice on the different varieties of laurel. We ultimately chose the “Elly.”
Upon delivery, the plants were truly beautiful and fresh as could be, and they more than met our expectations. They fit perfectly into the pre-dug trench, and planting them was a breeze. I’ve rarely experienced such a high standard of service and excellent communication. Definitely worth a full five stars.

Glansmispel ‘Robusta Compacta’
The Photinia ‘Robusta Compacta’—known in Latin asPhotiniax fraseri ‘Robusta Compacta’—is a plant that’s becoming very popular! And there are good reasons for that.
The various colors of this plant are beautiful. When the “Robusta Compacta” sprouts new leaves in the spring, these young shoots are a fiery red. In the summer, the leaves turn dark green, and in the winter, they turn dark red. This allows you to enjoy the plant’s changing colors in your garden all year round.
Unlike the‘RedRobin’photinia,the ‘Robusta Compacta’growsmore slowly and has a more compact form. For this reason, we recommend choosing the ‘Robusta Compacta’ if you want your hedge to grow to a maximum height of 150 cm. If you’d like a taller photinia hedge, then the ‘Red Robin’ photinia is a better option!
The “Robusta Compacta” is a beautiful variety to plant in your front yard. This hedge adds a lot of charm to your garden. Because these plants grow slowly and don’t get very tall, you can continue to enjoy the view of your neighborhood.
This type of glossy privet grows up to 20 cm per year. As a result, you only need to prune the “Robusta Compacta” once a year. The best time to do this is in the spring (March through May) and/or in the fall (September through November).
